Sport Management/Sport Business Curriculum Development

Dr. Foster’s eleven years of service to SMPRC established her as a recognized expert in sport management curriculum as evidenced by her election as Chair by her peers in 2001 – a position she held for five years.

Dr. Foster has been developing Sport Management/Business Curricula since 1988 and was successful in spearheading the program approval process for two institutions before being hired as Chair of the Department of Sport Management at Saint Leo University in 2003 where she also designed the Graduate Business Studies-MBA Sport Business concentration.  Under her direction at Saint Leo, General Manager Buck Rogers of the Huntsville Starts (AA Affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers) stated:

      peers including interns from ‘noted’ Sport Management programs…the SLU program is the best internship
